For those of you who think that taking pictures of Rocco and Molly is easy, please note the following pictures.
I would call them my gag reel, I guess. There are HUNDREDS of blooper pictures for every handfull of good pictures.
Here's Rocco jumping at the camera at the last minutes while Molly looks like she's sticking out her tongue...
Molly deciding that smelling the banner is better than posing for my picture...
Rocco, not running where I anticipate he will run...
Rocco. walking away as I was taking his picture....
I will post more of these pictures soon.
I guess now they are funny.
At the time, not so much.

The Big Boy Collar
Moose was our Sheperd/Rottweiller mix that passed away 2-1/2 years ago.
Moose was not a dog. He was a member of the family, our faithful companion, the love that filled this house. He was daddys boy and mommy's protector.
Moose was 120-lbs, and wore a big Harley Davidson collar that fit his stature and his demeanor.
He was one tough dog before bone cancer took him from us.
We keep his collar and his ashes together on a shelf in the house.
He is home where he belongs.
Lately, we have been looking for a new collar for Rocco. We wanted a big boy collar for him.
I don't know which one of us suggested Moose's collar for Rocco.
It was not an easy decision.
Truthfully, when I had Moose's collar in my hands yesterday, I cried for him.
And secretly I hoped the collar would not work for Rocco.
But guess what?
It fits.
And it looked good on him.
Well Rocco, you have big shoes to fill.
Yes you.

Flower Power
These are my Iris's. The Iris's that my mom gave me, that originally came from my Grandmothers yard.
These are my 3rd generation Iris's.
Here is Rocco posing near my flowers that have JUST started to bloom...
And Rocco satnding uncomfortably close to my flowers...
And Rocco already sniffing out his next bad dog adventure.
Seriously.
Every.single.day he runs over to my Iris's. I can't take my eyes off of him for a second.
I have a bad feeling about this.
