Rocco LOVES Rachel

Rachel is my cousin, and Rocco seriously LOVES her.
He snuggles with her....




He stares into her eyes....


And he sure looks like he's smiling when he's with her, doesn't he...




Good thing Rachel loves Rocco, too.

Allergies?

We took Rocco to the vet yesterday. He was shaking his head throughout the night on Wednesday so much that we were worried that he had a ear infection.
And of course our vet is closed on Thursday.
We were able to get an appointment with another area vet yesterday morning.
He was, for lack of a better word, "eccentric". He had autographed celebrity pictures all over his cat wallpapered office.
Um, and he was afraid of Rocco.
It wasn't until later that day that we were told that particular vet only treats small dogs.
Up to 40 lbs.
Rocco is 3x that amount.
Dr Scardy Cat (or should I say Scardy DOG) thinks that Rocco in fact has allergies, not an ear infection.
He gave Rocco an allergy shot, and we are to give him Benedryl for the next few days.
My poor Rocco has allergies.
He is such a dainty dog in a big dog body, isn't he?
Look how pathetic he looks in the vets office.
