I have no idea whats going on lately.
We are woken up every morning.
Yes, every morning BEFORE the alarm goes off at 5am.
By two dogs who are hungry.
Yes, HUNGRY.
This morning they woke us up at 3:30am.
I heard the clicking of their nails on the hard wood floor next to the bed.
The nails on their PRANCING feet.
Which went from "click, click, click, click" to "CLICKCKICKCLICKCLICK" as soon as they saw that I was awake. They worked themseleves into frenzy.
A "SHE'S AWAKE! SHE WILL FEED US! WE WANT FOOD!" kinda frenzy.
When they realized that, no, I wasn't getting up, Rocco went into the kitchen and started to nudge his empty bowl, LOUDLY, trying to let me know that his bowl was empty and he was hungry.
At 3:30am this morning.
Then he stood there staring at the empty bowl, WILLING it to be filled with food.
Um, did I mention that it was 3:30am this morning?
At least Rocco and Molly were working as a team.
I just wish their teamwork started at a reasonable hour.

Cabin Fever
Otherwise known as 10-days of Rocco hell.
Last week I woke up to discover this...
All over the floor.
We could not figure out where such a large mass of apparent stuffing could come from.
Rocco was sitting on the futon, minding his own business.
When we noticed that little hole in the blue comforter, just big enough for a bored dog to get at.
And judging but the guilty look on his face, we know who is the vandal.
A few days later we discovered a chewed up container. We can't figure out where he found it.
And a few days after that, we found an empty package of dog treats.
We didn't even know we had this kind of treat in the house until we found the remnants of this bag.
This was one weeks worth of Rocco mischief.
Then this past weekend we found the a soggy chewed up Crystal Light box, the packets still intact.
And the remains of a pencil...
We didn't even know we had a pencil in the house.
My husband recently lost his glasses.
We are waiting for Rocco to find them.
He's good at that sort of thing.
