Or should I say, our $1,324 Molly.
Times two.
That what it cost for Miss Molly's surgery for her SECOND torn ACL.
Here is Miss Molly at the Animal Hospital, waiting to meet with her surgeon.
Here is Miss Molly, waiting for someone to open the door so she can make a quick get-away.
It was really difficult to leave her overnight. We probably called the clinic four times that night to check on her.
When she came home, she looked so pathetic. Her leg was shaved, she had staples instead of stitches, and an IV bandage on her front leg.
Can you tell she's still groggy from her pain meds in this picture?
We put foam collars on her neck to help keep her from licking her incision.
Rocco has been well behaved, and keeping an eye on Molly. He actually took a nap with her this weekend. It was very sweet.
Molly is feeling better, scampering around the house on three legs. Her staples come out in one week, and by April, she will be ready to play her favorite game, catching her Frisbee.
Thanks to all of our family and friends for the puppy prayers. They helped!
And I just wanted to post this picture. It was in the vet's office when we dropped off Molly.
God Bless veterinarians for keeping our fur babies safe and healthy.

A trip to the vet
Rocco just had his 2-year old vet visit for his shots. That day it was rainy and cold. Rocco loves to hang his head out the window during car rides. Unfortunately, because of the rain, I could just open the window a few inches.
That did not stop him from trying to get his nose out the window.
At the vet he was weighed. Our boy weights 108-lbs!
He got his shots and cried like a baby. Afterward, he got a treat for being a good boy.
The vet said Rocco will not get any taller, but he might get wider. Next year he could weigh 120-lbs!
And next year he will probably cry again when he gets his shots.
My poor big and bad but dainty boy.
