In this case, it's not a spider.....
It's Rocco.
I guess we should have known how long and tall he would be, based on this picture from the first day we brought him him.
He was 3-months old here.
I guess we also should have known from the look on his face in that same picture that he would be a handful for us.
His face is ALWAYS very expressive.

The Cupcake Caper
I confess.
I drove 48-miles round trip for cupcakes.
But you must understand that these are from Swirlz Cupcakes, the best gourmet cupcake shop in the City of Chicago. And they are FANTASTIC. The Red Velvet cupcakes are to die for. My sister-law-law referred us to Swirlz and we are HOOKED.
And so, apparently is Rocco.
I lovingly peeled off the paper wrapper, and set the cupcake down on the coffee table, to enjoy with a glass of cold milk. But in my hurry I forgot the milk. I glanced at Rocco, asleep on the couch and thought, "Hmmmm, I'll only be gone for 10-seconds". So I left my pricey ($34.00/dozen) cupcake unattended.
Yes, I left it unattended.
As I stepped into the kitchen I heard the "clink clink" of the fork tapping the saucer as Rocco licked the remaining cupcake from the plate.
He ate my cupcake. In about 5-seconds.
Another confession.
I am making another 48-mile road trip again.
But this time for both cupcakes and "pup cakes', their doggie confections.
Because just as the Swirlz logo says, cupcakes me me happy.
